Males are mostly black with red and yellow thorax stripes and small yellow spots on the abdomen; females look similar but have paler, more yellowish stripes.

Size

Hindwings are about 19 to 20 mm long and the abdomen about 30 mm.

Where it comes from

This species occurs in several Asian countries, including China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and the Guangxi region.
